Is a 1/4" desiccant dryer ok for paint?

I have a Wilkerson 1/4" desiccant dryer that I got for $40 some time ago, identical to this one.

My question is, it's rated for 10cfm @ 100 psi; is this enough for painting, or will I choke off my air supply too much?

The Wilkerson 1/2" desiccant dryers are incredibly long and just as incredibly expensive, so thought I'd check here to see if the 1/4" dryer is good enough-- seems strange that Wilkerson would sell one that would prevent paint and air tools from working to their fullest extent but could be I'm wrong.

Its gonna be close. Depends on how much air your gun consumes really. Anything under 100psi will have more cfm. So say you have your regulator before the desiccant, and set it to 80psi. Then you may be at 13cfm. I think my sata likes requires 17cfm, but shes a hog. Your mileage may vary. I say if you got it, try it.
