Improperly Mixed Build Primer

I sprayed a few coats of build primer the other day. It looked "normal" to me after it dried (I'm really new at this, so normal to me is questionable) and it seemed to lay down normally. However, when I was cleaning the gun, I noticed it seemed very thick and harder to clean up. This has been bouncing around in the back of my head and it has now dawned on me that I believe I mixed the paint wrong, reading the mixing cup wrong. I figure I did it at about 6:1 instead of the required 4:1. I do intend to block it out, of course. Am I safe to continue on as normal (block it out as required) or should I try to get it all off of there (it went over a 24-hour old round of epoxy primer) and do it again? Thanks, everyone.

A few days under its belt it may have dried to a point.
May be kill two birds with one stone and block 90% off with 180, if at this point it loads the 180 just get off, if sands good and you get most off call me for a 100 questions so we can go from there.

Turns out my moment of panic at work was unfounded, Barry. I stopped at my garage tonight and re-checked how I measured it and I did indeed mix it 4:1. I did at least 3 coats and waited a bit before I got started, so maybe it was just starting to cure up in the bottom of the spray cup. I'll make sure it blocks right, but I think I'm off the hook.
Guess that's what happens when I concentrate on my restoration more than my job!! :p

Thanks, Barry. I appreciate you taking the time and the offer of personal help. Can't wait to put up the pics when I get her in color!

Regular 2k likes to be fresh mixed & applied. Can't have activated material left over it will kick. Look up the primer you used in the technical sheet, I don't remember the exact pot life time but it's short.

Thanks, metalman. Yes, the pot life is only 30-45 minutes. My guess is that I was at the end of that during my third coat.
