I want to create the "Best Sanding Blocks Ever"

I hate to rub it in Aviator8...but mine just arrived. They look and feel great - even the packaging is top-notch. Thanks Dean - Now all I need is my GTO to be done with metal finishing...

I'll post a picture up on my Performance Years build thread -- It gets quite a bit of traffic so hopefully it generates some interest for these.

MIne were due today but are now bumped to tuesday, no big deal here cause it will be a while till I got weather to use them....

64 GTO build thread

I have a shorter build thread here on the SPI forums as well. Anyway -- I hope you enjoy checking out my progress so far...
 
Used my new Black Diamond blocks over the weekend. They are Awesome. Feel great in the hand and the paper sticks to the block, as oppose to the durablock I was using. Makes it easier for a hack to let the paper do the work. Two things: 1) why did you wait so long to make them. 2) I installed a beer can holder that I want to add to the patent.
Cool to watch this project develop start to finish. Well done Dean.
 
Got mine thanks Dean. Not sure if I should use them or display them only. The packaging and product rival anything I’ve bought from big name companies. Professional from the start from feedback through website, ordering and delivery. I almost can‘t wait to block sand with them. Best $50 I ever spent. Worth 3x that.

Mine showed up today and my initial thought was , wow they are well packaged. And a letter with my name on it , not a "hello dear customer"...I've got (3) 18ft long cars in line for these. Looking forward but I can already tell it was money well spent

Yay! Unfortunately, I won't be ready to block my TR4 for quite some time, but I couldn't resist supporting an ingenious and persistent American inventor making the world a better place. Thanks, Dean!

I really like how flexible the long one is. The short one is barely flexible so if I were to change anything it would have been to make that one a little more flexible.

I’m definitely looking forward to using them. I will have five mentees helping me with a truck this summer. They have their own projects awaiting and of course will introduce them to the blocks too. I’m thinking about making an episode for them on my YouTube channel too (a “review” so to speak).
