I SUCK AT SPRAYING UNIVERSAL CLEAR

After reading this entire thread again I have a question. What gun regulators (diaphragm type) can be trusted not to choke CFM?
I use about 38' of 3/8" hose from the wall regulator to the gun and Hiflow fittings. The pressure drop IIRC is less than 10 PSI, going to double check that today.

No sir. I used slow activator and slow reducer.
This is in the universal clear?

Its a question I have asked for years and never gotten an answer. Closest I got was add retarder. Figure a cap ful of retarder is doing as much as 10% reducer, but never adding reducer is probably a bunch of the trouble.

I guess I was asking what's a good brand of diaphragm gun regulator? Have a couple of RTI, some cheap Chinese and the rest came on the guns.
If you search the cheater valve types show up along with the diaphragm (preferred) types.
Barry posted one he used but can't find that post.

Its a motor guard.. 4049 i believe

I have seen a few posts, cannot find them, about spraying universal outside. Believe me, if you do not have enough booth, you are probably better off instead of spraying in a cloud.

Would you think this would apply to SS (black) because as I understand SS is tinted universal clear?
Just curious.
