I NEED ADVICE ON THE SATA X5500

I sold my Sata 5000 B rp and have been spraying clear with an Iwata lph 400 that I just am not satisfied with, I miss the 5000 but want some input on the x5500 if you guys have used one. I do like the I pattern of the Iwata and was thinking about a x5500 I pattern 1.3 exclusively to be used for clear. I am in no way slamming the Iwata, It is too slow for my style. I found a seller from Italy that has the x5500 for $620.00 shipped to me, Any advice is appreciated.

I sprayed twice with 5500 RP 1.3 O . One of the best gun i ever touched. By my opinion, much better than 5000rp . Didnt have to adjust anything, everything full open and 2 bar. Very nice gun.

i have been eyeing up this gun as well. i have a 5000rp with a 1.8 that i use for a specialty waterborne paint and i love that gun but would also like to replace my 2 lph400's as well. ultimately i would like a 1.4 and another 1.8 but i see they dont make a 1.8 or anything in that range for the 5500. not sure why they make it for a 5000 but not a 5500.

I looked at the Sata website and they only offer them in 1.2-1.5, I am looking at buying the RP with 1.3 I pattern to spray clear with. I am sure either the O or I will be fine but I do like the iwata pattern so the I it is. I am going to turn the lph 400 into a base coat gun.
