I have been using HVLP with turbines for work (building trades) and my first turbine was a stage 1 about 25 years ago. Technology sure has come along ways in that time.
I now have a stage 4 hvlp turbine rig. Literature says it can be used for automotive work. Has anyone used a turbine unit for car finishes?
The turbine produces warm dry air but wondering if the warm air causes problems with drying to fast. Any information is greatly appreciated

I really liked the original accuspray guns. The conversion from compressed air line to the gun had a garden hose fitting to change the pressure to volume. Those were the days all the painters wanted to use was the binks number 7.

I know that this will catch hell but I've used one exclusively for base coat since like 2007. never had a mottle or a tiger stripe. I can do a crew cab pickup with 3 qt. of base. Has probably saved me $10k. Never clear though.
