High Humidity

Novice here........I was planning on spraying UV clear this Thursday. They are calling for a 90% chance of rain with humidity around 90% also. I'll be spraying in my garage which is insulated well and kept at 74 degrees. I will be drawing fresh air in from a window that is in a room adjacent to my spray area. Will the high humidity cause any problems for me? Thanks for any help.

Most likely not but try to get the job done so it has two hours of warm temp if temp should drop and of course fast activator may not be the best idea.
Give it 30 mins flash.

Do as our Guru suggests, give everything proper flash time. Keep it at temp for a few hours afterward. When it's high humidity the main thing I notice is the clear (any clear) will have a tendency to not lay out as nice than if it were a low-mid humidity day. I've tried using just a touch (1/4-1/2 ounce per quart of RTS clear) of polyurethane retarder and that seems to help. If you are planning to cut and buff than it really shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks Barry & Chris for the replies. The weather report showed the dew point at 43 on Thursday and 31 on Friday if that would make a difference.

living in the south here, moisture/water catcher for airline's a must.
Cheap $25 one from hardware store better then none.

I prefer to paint on rainy days, I get much cleaner jobs that way.
Never been a problem, in the "old days" with lacquers,
blushing was a problem, Not so much with the 2K products.
I still miss the smell of lacquer.
