High Build Temperature

I'm well aware of the 65 degree minimum for shooting epoxy. Is there a minimum for shooting high build 2k primer or does it cure so fast it's not a problem?

I strive to get my booth and metal temps to 70 degrees whenever spraying paint.
That said, I believe the curing method of epoxy is different than just solvent evaporating.

Check the Tech Manual and you will see notes concerning cold shop temps when spraying. Go to the Home page and look under the Products Tab and you can download the manual.

The only thing I can find on high build temperature is a comment about adding some Polar Accelerator at "colder temperatures" but no definition on what constitutes "colder temperatures."

Epoxy holds the risk of never ever fully curing in cold weather, other products don't have this risk. They do have a higher risk of solvent trapping, which can possibly cause bubbles, particularly sprayed over body filler, particularly over thick filler. I said higher risk, not that it will happen. Spray in decent temp, flash & dry times will extend in cold & try to hold decent minimum temp for a day or so would be good.

IMPORTANT- think of bulb as lit cig though. dangerous as taking a puff if u break a bulb. Don't.
Electric heater blowing on it is good.
