High Build in the Deaert

Lesson learned. SPI high build in the desert heat need retarder and a lot of it with a 1.8 tip. It was painful to get a non sand paper finish as the high build turned to elmers glue consistency almost immediately. The free retarder that SPI sent a few orders ago saved my bacon.

In central TX summer, Ive had to use 4:1:1 part retarder. Only mix what I can spray in one coat. Ive also been using a Jet100 RP 2.5 turned in some, so I can move fast before it gels.
