Hardner and reducer question

Can spi single stage hardener and reducer be used with ppg dcc concept ss?

The reducer, yes.
But the activator never.
Use their activator for proper activation; too low or too high is never good.

I know at one time there were several companies making alternative DU5 activators I remember there were also DCX61 alternative activators as well. I never used them and with the price of Concept would not want to take the chance. Use the correct activator DU5, DU6, DCX61, or DCX9. Refer to the PPG Concept TDS for guidance.

Yes, I trying to save some money because the last quart I bought 10 years ago was $ 121.00 a quart for red. I might try spi dark red base

Yes it would be fairly close. And it is top quality. And you would save a lot of money as PPG DBC and DCC are both priced over the moon nowadays.
