Glass gap fix advice

Lid turned out pretty nice (painted/cut/buff but not on car yet), really appreciate all the help. I did find a couple pics I took while working on the one side. I sanded both inside and outside down towards the corner that needed building up, then did one side at a time. I used a paint stick wrapped in wax paper to support the fabric while it set. Once that set I flipped it over and did the same from the other side after scuffing/cleaning the glass that was against the wax paper. After that was able to cut/shape it to the correct dimensions.
Biggest PITA was the fact that you didn't go very deep at all before you hit air bubbles, took a lot of cleanup with dremel bit to feel confident that I was going to get good adhesion of epoxy/filler down in those holes. Time will tell...
