Wet and with an interface pad

This is probably a strange question, how do wet sand with a da? Just spritz water on?

I’ve waited a few months, now the paint is so hard I’m spending 20 minutes sanding a 1ft section with the 2000 sunmight. Does the water speed things up?

Is this Universal Clear? It should not be that hard. Did you start with 1000 and 1500 by hand? Just spray it down with a hose. DA is air driven so it does not matter if it is wet.

Wet sanding with water prolongs the life of the sand paper. It also too a small degree, keeps the paint cooler.

It’s single stage. Yes, I blocked with 1500 first. Then the foam sunmight 2000, and 3000. It takes a loooong time to get rid of the 1500 scratches and even longer to get rid of the 2000 scratches. I think I may have an air DA. I’ll give it a shot. Maybe my DA is too slow. Thank you
