I rebuilt the 9 inch and put in 4.10 gears. Then I swapped it with the one in my blue mustang. I set the clutches up too tight on that one so I had to take it out anyways and thought I'd bump up the ratio with the TKO600.

Oh yea, some of you noticing the Caltracs will know that I'm thinking ahead to the future of this car.

Here is where some of you will put down your phones and just want to shoot me.lol

I wanted an original,rusty,type look so I got out my airbrush,mixed up some base and started laying down a faded paint,rust look using a spray bottle with water In between colors to give it more realism. Then I cleared it all with SPI matte clear.

We really just wanted a driver that she can park at work and not worry about. She is too scared to even drive the other one and that's no fun so I thought I would try something else. I will tell you this,this is one fun project. No worry's about the paint,no buffing etc. I will have a hard time building another show car after this.

Yes it is. Probably less likely to get keyed or harmed.

My boss took the 1969 coronet r/t convertible 572 hemi car I restored to a local show a couple years ago. It ended up with a dent in the door from what looked like a knee.He had it PDR'd before I could see it so I didn't come unglued.About a 200k car.
Some people are thugs.
 
Got some deadener on the floor,then another thicker deadener over that.

I am using another Prius EPAS unit for the steering because I was so happy how the other one turned out. I made a few improvements to this install.
