To get straight to the question.
Is there a way to disassemble a Flexilla coupler?
Preferably without destroying it.

I used a non Flexzilla male end in a Flexzilla coupler and now when the coupler is without a tool attached it leaks. I've fiddled with it using a screwdriver to try to reseat whatever I may have screwed up but to no avail. I've tried to unscrew the body but that joker is TIGHT.

im not sure but is it really worth it? i love flexzilla hoses but there couplers are all aluminum and basically junk. they will never hold up to daily shop use. aluminum is too soft. even good brass ones dont hold up. you need some good steel fittings. those will last a couple years then you just toss them and put a new one on for a couple bucks. i think the flexzilla fittings are meant for just household use where you plug something into it once every week or two to fill a tire, etc.

Yeah, sadly I got caught up in the Flexzilla hype. I just ordered a new coupler.
I'm the only one in my hobbyist shop and not even close to the level of some of you guys so I'm hoping they'll last awhile.
