Filler Over Primer

Novice body man here. I've done the sheet metal work and applied two coats of epoxy. I was hoping to wait a few days and apply 2k high build primer eliminating the need to sand the epoxy. However, I won't have finished the filler work by then. I've read you shouldn't apply filler over urethane primer. I assume SPI 2k High Build Primer is a urethane based product but don't know that for sure. So, is it a urethane and, if it isn't, can filler be applied over it?

If you do need a little filler after 2k primer or even paint, a glaze type filler, such as evercoat metal glaze will work.

If you finish your filler work within the 7 days, shoot 1-2 coats unreduced epoxy, then shoot 2K 24 hours to 7 days later. If filler work goes past the 7 days, just scuff the epoxy with 180-320 or a red scuff pad, then apply more epoxy. Epoxy has great adhesion to itself, and it will seal off the porous nature of the filler better than 2K. Another bonus is being able to see what your panels look like in the shiny epoxy, and being able to repair any issues. Don't be in a hurry to spray the 2K, try to make sure it's ready for it.
