I disagree with the statement if it aint broke don't fix it! That is how new better products come to be. By trying new things, pushing the boundries, etc. If anyone thinks any different they are narrow minded! I am always the first guy in line when new products come out! I always want to try it & see if it works better, makes my job easier, or will have a nicer out come. Barry don't listen to the complainers! Change is a good thing. I completely understand what you are trying to do. Don't ever stop trying improve your products it will just get you more respect & keep new products & technology going to the next level. Because of guys like you we are much more advanced than we were in the past. These guys forget how much ground has been covered from the days of laquer primers & acrylic enamel days or the early clear coats that took a bake over to dry or hours on end air dry for clear & primers. Now we have ones that don't need a bake and be delivered same day. Thank you for your continued work & unwillingness to say its good enough.

Another thought to add to this..
I remember back when the color of the turbo primer was being decided on.
I lost a customer over the variation of color tone from one batch to the next, He has no interest in trying any of the products because of the color changes, his thoughts were if the colors couldn't stay consistent how could the rest of the product be consistent. I have explained it to him but he isn't having it.. Up until that point he was using a few gallons a week.

I think that many times change is a good thing, but sometimes there are some consequences that come with the changes.

The product can stay the same but fancy the label up and my phone will go off crazy with shops wanting to know if you changed the product, been there and done that, too many times.

I want to be the opposite of all the other companies and if I can improve something I will, (extra cost to me means nothing) I remember the shop we lost when trying to dial in the color but looking back, it was one of the best things we did and we have increased that product production like no tomorrow and as of this morning Canada just wiped us out with a 1000 gallon order, so guess we are doing something right.
If I have to keep everything so so or same as, I would get board real fast with this business and would like to leave that part to the bean counters.

I agree Barry, win some loose some but as long as you're moving forward, it's all good news to me..
