Hi,
Been reading a lot on the forums and I see most posts concerning spraying epoxy is for finish paint jobs.
I bought a quart of SPI gray epoxy and I have a quart of Single Stage Urethane Matte Black.
I want spray under my package tray and the wheel well area before I install my full trunk pan.
I cleaned, scraped, wire brushed and scuffed the area with 80 grit sandpaper.
I am also going to wipe with SPI Grease and Wax remover.
I plan on spraying 2 coats of SPI one evening then the next day spray my single stage.
My question in this case should I use the epoxy with just the activator or mix it with the reducer and use it as a sealer
or will either way work.
Thanks,
Kenny
