epoxy question

Here are a few pictures. Took me about 20 hours of sandblasting. How much epoxy do you guys think this will take? I'm just looking for a ballpark to mix in the morning. I'm near Buffalo, NY and we got a nice 5 day patch of good weather to get this done. I had the car outside all day today and I never noticed it hot to the touch.

Wow! that looks like a really solid body on that T-Bird. Not many are anywhere near that nice. They rusted really bad.

When I bought this, it was already taken apart. Somebody started a restoration. It came with two new fenders that I installed and I had to replace the trunk floor. I can tell there were some other panels replaced, but overall whoever worked on it did a pretty good job.

Sunlight like that you should be OK. In the direct sunlight from around 10-6 (here in VA) you don't want to shoot the epoxy. You'll just have to judge it for yourself.

Are you going to be able to keep it above 65° for the 24 hours after you epoxy it? our nights aren't getting above 60° for the next 5-6 days.
Great looking project, keep us posted on your progress.

I pretty much only spray my primers outside in the driveway in front of the garage. The car (or parts) sit in the garage where I prep them, and then it's rolled out into the driveway. I just don't like having all the overspray in the garage, and I'm too lazy to set up the paint booth usually, which my 67 lives. I pretty much only do things like painting in my 'booth.'

I do not find that the epoxy drifts very far. My other cars will be sitting outside too, maybe 100 feet away. They never catch anything. Even my garage that I'm spraying 10 feet in front of won't have overspray on it.

Here are some pictures after spraying the epoxy. Got a little carried away in places trying to get the epoxy into some hard to reach areas. Used a total of 3 gallons sprayable. I also didn't have any issues with the over-spray.
