I didn’t talk directly to Barry but they said the 7 day window is assuming you’re painting in a paint booth without getting hit by UV, regardless of temperature.
From what I read in another thread and from what I observed with what I did, if you’re painting outside in direct sunlight you should do all the touch up work within 24 hours.
I was happy with my results until I tried to do touch up work a few days later.
