Electric DA

I have only used a pneumatic DA for automotive but have an electric DA for woodwork. I don't have air in the wood working shop. Anyway, I've most used Hutchins sanders. But now I need to replace a couple and wondering if I could or should switch to electric. They seem quieter and less load on my compressor. Thoughts and experiences? Can I get a good quality electric 6 inch for Velcro? Are there options on orbit size?

Not bad. Adjustable throw. Just kind of bulky. #r2611

That's all I use for sanding clearcoat now.
Research this site, there's a lot already on the subject.
And it's not an electric DA, it's a electric orbital sander-big difference.

Probably the only ones that work really nice are the Mirka ones, but they are pricey.
