last year some time i bought a box of dura gold 180 film back psa 6" discs. it was such a good deal i couldnt pass it up, figured they wont last long, but cheap enough.
ya know what? its not bad really. its not sunmight, but its better than some i have used. for the price i am pleasantly surprised. now, this is the purple film, not the standard paper back.
 
just remember, its not the cost to buy something, its the cost to use it. you need to figure out cost per sqft to sand then add or subtract your time. even if your not doing this professionally, labor has some value right? so figure it all out and compare to other brands in the same way. thats the only way to know the winner. i have never used the duragold so i really have no idea how good or bad it is.

it was like twenty bucks Jim. i really thought i had shot twenty bucks, but one disc sanded a complete door, and its fine to keep using.
i like sunmight, but it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.
