Just an update, not sure i mentioned but we hired a re-branding expert about 6 months ago and we did not want to do labels and then redo them in a few months.

He has reached the point now where he is designing the label for this clear and when done we will send to printer, so getting close!!!!

YES! Can't wait to buy some!

Yes!!!!!!! Spraying this clear back to back and seeing how good it works has me hooked lol. I have two shops where they tried it and are asking me when will I have it in stock.

One particular bumper corner I sprayed the regular two coats and it looked perfect, stepped outside of the spray booth for two minutes then came back and I find a couple of fish eyes, so since I had leftover clear I slammed another 1.5 coats and they did go away but I got a little sag. One hour later air dry I was able to dry sand the run out and buff it. The body shop owner couldn’t believe it, and I was damn surprised myself too. lol

One of the first tests was at a southern ford dealer had been using the 15 clear from S&W over Deltron for a few years he said.
I said try baking 140 for 10 minutes and I did not know what to expect but thought I might be close and I told him that.

His call was the 10 mins was overkill but I could stand on it 10 mins after baking.
This shop has called the jobber and myself about every two weeks wanting to know what the holdup is.

Is there an answer to this question?

So, what's the holdup? I don't need no fancy label! ;)

Trust me, I have so much time testing this clear if I could have it would have been out 2 months ago.
I actually wanted to have labels made and then remake them again when done with the rebranding.
Then they talked some sense into me.

Forgive my ignorance but what is rebranding. What does a rebranding expert do?

Lol, that was my first question!
We private label for a very high-end manufacturer That is is a different market than auto refinish.
Well, this guy sent me a label he made for approval of the required legal crap.
I texted him back and said this is the finest best looking label I have ever seen.
That's when he explained his background for 25 years as a marketing expert before he bought this company.
With that andy and brian started talking to him and he said your labels, websites, logos and adds suck-- my words lol,
We at that point stopped our ads except for Canada and using the $70,000
Ad budget to pay him.
I designed the label's and was of the opinion they were great but my ego has been smashed! Lol.
Our new logo is a class act.
So, everything about us will be change from now over the next year and all of our labels will be redone at a big cost.
The good news so far is I have not heard any rumors that I should be fired or executed for incompetence.

I asked Andy about buying a tshirt when I was ordering some clear awhile back. He said that you were most likely out of them due to a logo revamp.

I know you guys aren't in the tshirt business, but I would love to buy a tshirt if you get any with your new logo.

Just check when you order,
Brian handle the ordering.

New logo, new labels.... When will the NASCAR sponsorship come? That's what all the top quality companies do.

I remember at one time for low budget NASCAR teams you could buy a set of tires and get your logo somewhere on their car and Garage credentials.

My son drives a sprint car, and sponsorship is a lot cheaper, with about the same exposure as NASCAR gets these days:) Probably one of the few candy blue sprints out there, for good reason. What a pain. The black is all SPI epoxy and gets the ultimate torture test almost weekly. There are dents all over the wings but the epoxy stays put. Haven't noticed much fading, either.
