I'm sure some of you guys have access to this pricing and would like to know what a gallon w/activator of DC 3000 goes to shop for?
Thanks for the help!!
Barry

I'd suggest looking into SPI clears. Great product at great prices. Hope this helps!

LOL!!!
I have a motive to ask this question, started with looking at DC 2000 30 min buff that seems to last in a shop for 3-4 months until they see the car again then they go back to the 3000.

Never know what I could make up in a bath tub!

I wouldn't take DC3000 for free. I've seen it go bad starting at about the 3 year mark. I think my jobber sells it though, if nobody else knows I will call them for you.

I looked at there spec sheet as years ago i made an equivalent to 3000 called "Turbo clear" a 3:1 mix, the resin back then was new and state of art but over the years got left behind, so I stopped making it.

Reading their spec sheet sheet the Production clear (2100-1) kills the 3000 in every way from mils to buffing and life of clear from feedback I get.
I'm working on a clear to replace the Deltron 2000 a 30 minute buff clear that will last like production and universal clear from SPI.

One thing SPI will not do with any clear is use a lower grade resin, cut back on UV protection and lower solids too accomplish this as we have no bean counters here.
Just about ready to start having labels made but just a little more testing to be 100% sure, I have all my ducks in a perfect row!

Thank you AAE but this has been beat and tested to death already for last 6 months.

Yes!!!!! AND you can slam both coats back to back wet as i normally spray and not going to run it.

Any issues with a 3:1 mix, PLEASE give me all your opinions, keep in mind this clear is for production shops max panels at a time of say half the car.
I can convert to 4:1 but!!!

What difference in performance is there between the two mix ratios? It might be easier on you if you went with the 4:1 since all of the other products are either 1:1 or 4:1.

Multiple activators or reducer controlled?

What's the "but"?

Two activators, no reducer.

If you make it 3:1 will you package it like the MS clear in the past? 96 ounces in the gallon can plus the 1 qt. Activator.

Don’t know if that’s the case if that makes it lower in cost to the shop cause they get 4qts. RTS. Not that I care about the lower cost I’m sure it will be competitive either way.

This is awesome news!!!!!!!!
