Color Chart? Orange?

Pictures? Jim did his over grey primer and I just exchanged my SPI grey for their white epoxy primer. I am wondering if that would lighted or brighten up the color a little????

Difference would be subtle and likely only tell if the two are sitting side by side.

I did sprayouts with white and grey side by side and grey was darker and didn't have that grab my attention look.

SPI Orange looks different in just about every photo. This was over white

No it's a solid color. I think Barry did say that some of the pigment in the toner changes color upon exposure to sunlight.
It's pure orange with only one tint.
I used to make hugger orange, and all I did was take out the other minor tint, and this color took over the hugger, so I discontinued it.
I did the same thing with SPi red used to be viper red.

Thanks guys. Its funny that it seems in direct sun it appears darker yet inside in man made light its lighter!

I don't think you can tell anything concrete from the pictures. Different exposure levels with each shot, different lighting etc. The sample chip should be what you go on. I will say that it is crazy that it looks that orange in the one pic, then looks like SPI red in the next.

I really wanted Hugger Orange for my Camaro. I have the SPI Orange paint chip. I can't tell you how many times I go back and forth saying the SPI is tooo Bright LOL. Yes, every photo is different, and I looked at as many as I could find. Can't make up my freakin mind.

20g SPI orange to 1g SPI dark red is Hugger Orange :D (just a guess and no guarantee implied, but way cheaper)

Paid 316.00 for a pint of dbc couple months ago. Previous owner had them put the camera on it cuz he didn't know what color it was. Was blending in a panel and had to be perfect. It was perfect but costly.
