If I have new suspension parts that do not usually get painted can i spray clear on them to keep them looking good? I realize I would have to clean the coating off but after that will the clear stick? If not what are my options?

That might work, never heard of that being done.
My 2016 f250 came with about 6 parts that were left in raw metal, every time i change oil, i want to puke.

Buy a Chevy Barry, you get what seems to be parts store undercoating on the frame (kind that never really dries) and nothing else. I just did a 2017 Z71 (rebuilder) and the stuff had come off in many places and lots of surface rust in its place. Inexcusable.

Now you have! I shot this whole thing with UC. All I have to do is spray it down with auto car wash and rinse to make it look like new again.
