I have a pint of Candy Apple Red and have thought for a while that our Dark Red over the red oxide epoxy was a very good match, but I never said that.
I now have heard from a 3rd professional that it's in the ballpark.
So that should save you a $1000 a gallon or so if using a quality base.
 
Barry are you talking about the Candy Red that Ford used for many years or a custom candy Red? Did a few Mustangs with that red over the years...................
 
Yes, I have no pictures, but Rusty is doing one now as he said; it looks close, so I'm sure he will post a picture and give us his opinion.
I heard from two other people that it was good, but when Rusty called and said the same, I figured it was ok for me to state my opinion.
