C2 Corvette Flare Patch Panel Installation trouble

No not to paint the whole car. It was painted in 2015 BC/CC. I want to blend in the color to the doors. This is a very nice car, not a perfect car. I am a hobbyist not a shop and just confused as to what products/procedures to use after rough body work . Maybe Calling Barry will be a good idea. May be easier to explain where I'm confused. Thank you for that suggestion!

Finally getting back to this project. So here's the first coats of Feather Fill G2. What type of sanding block is recommended for the long valley curve down the fender? I have a small round durablock. Is maybe one of the bigger curved ones a belter option?

Your patch panels look very nice.

I used a round Durablock combined with this teardrop one. Maybe a piece of PVC pipe too, can’t remember for sure.

For some reason I seemed to have missed this.
Your repair looks good, but before you block, the best thing you can do is put the car in the sun for 4 or 5 days.

For sanding Corvettes, I have the Durablocks as dhutton01 suggests and also different size PVC pipe pieces, some wooden dowels pieces and one of my favorites, LOL's; a section of radiator hose with a small hose inside to stiffen it up. Also used some pretty stiff packing material from a computer shipping box, ha!. So, an assortment is good to have and you can always find something to do the trick for a particular need.
