Bug removal from base

Ok, I sprayed the tailgate and doors on the never ending project last night. I know I shouldn't spray late at night but the temp was a 102* here yesterday. I was afraid to spray inside my shop with the temps that high. As expected I have a few bugs in my base coat. Some just stuck and one kind of back stroked around for awhile before I could get him out. The base came out pretty good. I was a little shocked it looked that nice. I could use some advice on fixing the bug spots and fixing one run.As a first time painter I appreciate any help . Thank y'all very much.

Wet sand with 600-1000 on a block and reapply base, not as wet. Bugs shouldn't have time to swim around and you should not get runs in base. Medium coats, and don't try to get coverage with first coat.
