Buffing Universal Clear

Fellas,
I'm having a problem with the finishing (top coat) of UC-
I have a Makita rotary Buffer, I'm using foam (mostly orange and white) Lake Country Pads, and for Compunds Chemical Guys V Series-
I can buff and get "Optical Clarity" in the clear-it looks perfect-
The problem is the finishing "Polish"-again, I'm using Chemical Guys stuff (their Carnuba "Butter Wax" and a product for black Cars called "Blacklight")-
Here is a picture of it last weekend at a Car Show (I won 3 Trophies!)-in indirect Sunlight it looks killer, but if you track the Sun, I get either faint halos (using Butter Wax), or striping (using Blacklight)-
I only wipe front-to-nack (with super soft microfiber towels without labels), using 0 pressure-
So, I'm wondering if I should try a dual action Polisher with microfiber pads-if so, who makes the best dual action buffer? Short stroke I assume?
I looking for tips and tricks, and/or what I'm missing-
I'm not against trying another product-
Thanks for your input!

What works best IMO for the micro swirls and halos is the 3M Ultrafina Polish with the corresponding UltraFina pad. I'm not a fan of 3M buffing products but this stuff is the best there is for getting rid of the micro swirls. Nothing better. It is quick and it doesn't sling or dry out so it is easy to remove the polish when you are done. Follow instructions as it needs to be used a specific way. It is important to use the recommended pad. Stuff won't work correctly without it.

Thank you, are these best used with a Rotary?

the white pad is too aggressive for polishing. black pad with 38 will really bring it out. cg has 0 fillers so what you see is what you have .

the black optics micro pad is great also.

Okay, I wanted to report back-Shine, thank you,-I went back, started it an orange Pad and V36, then a white pad w/V38, then a black Pad w/V38, Blacklight and "Butter" Wax- took it out in the Sun this morning and it looks amazing!
