Body Filler Over Epoxy

I sprayed SPI epoxy on my steel truck bed floor just under 6 days ago and I was wanting to start spreading body filler on it today to start smoothing out some dents. Do I need to scuff the epoxy with 180 before the filler or will I be okay applying the filler directly on top of the epoxy with no scuffing since I am still inside the 7 day window? Just want to make sure I have the best adhesion with the filler. If scuffing with 180 will help with that I can still do that as well.

I don't think that you need to scuff the epoxy, but if you want to you can for better peace of mind. I have applied filler over epoxy over 7days old and it still sticks like glue. I don't think it's necessary, but a light scuff certainly wouldn't hurt anything, and all you would need is a light scuffing.
