Base coat paint

I just got off the phone with Chad Sperry. He quoted me $530.00 for automotive art paint. Great guy to talk to. His shop uses automotive art, and he likes it. It’s a heck of a lot cheaper than PPG!

That's an amazing price difference.

I paid $90 for a pint of GM summit white in Chromabase last night. I wish I would have had time to get it in Motobase.

Just picked up a gallon of PPG DBC. 65 Corvette Glen Green metallic. $500.

Chad is the man. Mixed some moto for me. Laguna green Qt dbc $224. Motobase $131

I’m still trying to decide on a color for my project. I like the blue on your Mustang. What color blue is that?
I found another blue that was on a 69 Mustang SEMA winner. The guy who painted it sells it in PPG Deltron, but it’s REALLY expensive ($1400.00 a gallon) It’s called Super Blue.

It's a late model mustang blue if I'm not mistaken. Impact Blue (I think). I can look it up tommorrow and give you the factory paint code and an Axalta number as well. Motobase would be a good choice as it is half what Deltron DBC would be. Wanda would be another good choice. Like Barry said both are equal to or better than Deltron for a lot less money.
