applying epoxy over filler

When staring at a panel that has cured epoxy, filler, and some bare metal spots around the filler, what grit can everything be sanded with before applying more epoxy?

I was thinking 80 grit on the filler and surrounding bare metal since the tech sheets say bare metal should be sanded with 80 grit, and the cured epoxy with 180 grit. Am I right?

2k or poly surfacer will follow after more epoxy is aplied.

Whatever you finished the body filler out with, (80, 180) for those small spots will be fine.

Do you mean the bare metal spots will be fine with 80 or 180?
