Any tips?

I am wanting to venture into (or at least try my hand at) some airbrushing. I am not new to painting, just COMPLETELY new to airbrushing. I understand there is nothing about this that will come quickly and it will likely take several years to get any nice results (or so I assume), but does anyone have any tips or suggestions for a novice? I am trying to decide between an Iwata eclipse, a SATAgraph 4b or anything else that comes recommended by someone who uses them regularly. I would like to stay around the $125ish or less range, until I figure out if this is something I can pick up on. I think from what I read, that I probably need a 0.3mm tip at least for now. It seems like it would be the most versatile for a beginner? I am mainly looking for something I can learn on and then buy a higher quality if needed. I do however, understand that there is a big difference in cheap and quality when it comes to painting ( I learned that the hard way with regular paint guns). So I am open for any suggestions, tips, or information you guys are willing to share. Thanks in advance.

kelly, the eclipse is excellent. you cant go wrong with that. i can do 80% of everything with that brush. parts are available everywhere. only buy a gravity feed.

Thanks Jim, From what I have seen on your site, I definitely respect your opinion. I really don't know what, if anything, I will be able to do with an airbrush, but I don't want to wonder if any problems I may have are cheap gun related. I already know there will be plenty of operator failure related problems LOL.

Also Jim, do you have any suggestions on what type of things to start off doing? Or any suggestions for books or videos that may be helpful? I am pretty sure I could corner the market in my area if I could become proficient because I don't know of anyone within probably 100 miles of me that does airbrushing. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect to buy a brush and be an expert, just thinking ahead of possible benefits if I can learn a few things. Thanks again
