Stopped in at Tractor Supply yesterday and noticed a Flexzilla box on the close out table. It was a 50' x 3/8" hose and reel, # L8250FZ
The box did not match the shelf tag.
It just happened a clerk was walking by and I asked him how much for it. He looked at the tag and said this is the price and if it isn't we will honor it anyway.
I proceeded to take the sealed box to the register and the clerk rang up the sale.
Register showed $99.99 he then over rode it and put in the $29.99 shown on the shelf tag :)
Just by chance he happened to be the manager on duty and had the authority to do this.

I was in the Sears store in Spokane Valley one day and saw the Craftsman Commercial Grinder sitting on display with a $50 tag on it. I called the clerk over and ask them if that was the correct price on the grinder. He said he would have to check with the manager. She came over and confirmed the price (down from $300 plus). By then a second employee showed up and both asked the manager when the price had been marked down. She responded, that grinder has been sitting there for three years and we have yet to sell one. They were both dissappointed they did not know it had been reduced and said if they would have known they would have bought it. I asked how many they had in stock. None, and she wanted it GONE!. HULAH
