Ad promotor, blends, 222s???

Think I already know where this will go. But I know someone that sprays axalta line and uses 222s which is labeled as an adhesion promoter but is basically used a lot for wet beds for blends. I'm assuming I don't want to use SPI in this manor? Intercoat is my only option? Or a clear base from my paint line obviously. I just thought if I could gain some adhesion and have a wet bed for blends at the same time that would be hand. Any thoughts? Thanks!

222 has been out for many years, my opinion it is not a great adpro or as an intercoat.
Never have used it only going by what painters have told me over the years.

I've used the 222 and concur with Barry. And it is not intended to be used as a wet bed. Cromax and all other paint manufacturers have specific products to be used as a wet bed or a blender. With Cromax Mosaic (line I've used a lot of) it was SBL877S. That was good stuff.

SPI offers it's own excellent Intercoat which is what you should use if you want a wet bed or if you need to dilute a base for blending.
