A woman's project: 1968 Mustang Fastback Eleanor

We haven't done much to the car lately but it was finally sunny and warm enough last weekend so we pushed her out to see what she looked like in the sun.

Sorry for being off subject, but do you have any pics of the green Dodge Challenger in the background ?
The Mustang looks really nice and will definitely stand out.

This morning I read my post from last night and felt embarrassed that I had requested a picture of another car in a thread documenting the build of a beautiful Mustang by people who obviously
are deeply involved in creating an automotive work of art. Sorry for my lack of judgement, I meant no disrespect.

Old soul, I like the looks of the mopar also, always wanted a Hemi convertible.

Thanks guys!

Eleanor's had 29 pages, she can share some thread space! After all, she does get jealous.

Thanks guys!

We've taken a big break from working on the car, but we're about to get back to it. We're having some pictures taken of the car this weekend so we worked on getting the front end assembled. Grilles and lights in. Next thing will be putting the door glass in.

Looking good! Which brand and number lower middle lamps did you use?

Thanks, Mitch. No Chad, not even close. We now need to disassemble the entire front end so that we can pull the motor. :cower: Back to the drawing board. We're mentally preparing to do that. Once we have a solid few days to work on it and a good game plan, we'll tackle it. In the meantime we've been working on the door glass.

Still undecided but right now we're thinking about either a Keith Craft 408 or a Ford Racing 427 crate. Yes we'd like to sell the motor that's in it now.
