A bit different for sure

Mike K

Been gone awhile with Life and all it's appreciations, deceptions, exceptions and lack of inspirations.
Just got 'back in' and trying to figure this joint out before diving in so help me out.
This the B.S. forum now? Didn't see nothing specific,so I'm posting Here.
Been out the Game for a few years now and rusty likely won't begin to describe my 'chops but I did ride a bicycle as a kid so it will come back, eventually.
Note to Barry,
We finally finished the Camaro!!!
SPI Red is just KILLER! Pics to come soon as I 'figure it out Here. Been a l-o-n-g project with Life interventions at every turn but a tube chassis with an ex Pro Stock Truck motor should be a good start.
Me,I just been doing my work in HVAC and being a Grandpaw along with my newest grandaughter on Monday,10-3-16. Getting older and slower and sanding really sucks anymore. Still got all my 'stuff equipment wise and the Iwata Orange cap I never used.LOL. Gallons of Clear,Epoxy,SS,Activator,Sealer,Primer, etc which I guess is still 'good' as it's unopened but who knows.
Looking forward to future discussions and a lot of help from my friends I have here.
Mike.

Barry has been a Mentor as Jim and Bob along with others from Hotrodders from back 'in the day',
So, Where you at?

Hi Mike,
They are all still here but some like Bondo (who got a full time job) don't post as much as they used to. Of course with another "new" forum site a lot of us are still trying to find our way around.
I have a gallon of SPI Dark Red that I will be spraying on a '62 Chevy truck if I ever get it prepped. Anxious to see your pics. I believe there is a thread just for SPI Red paint jobs.

Welcome back. Life does have a host of twists and turns most of which we can't control this portent part is we get through it a little wiser.

Any how look forward to your pics of your project.

hey mike, yes its been a long time. so long in fact that that i tink most people here might be too new to know you. hope all is well.

I was the first to have a lawnmower published in a SPI Tech manual.:D
Jim C.
YOU,'taught' me the Art of toners and that Kandy 'stuff along with some Corel tutelage. Thank you and I got more questions later.
Bob H. is a great friend even if he is a Yankee LOL.He and I 'walked' thru the initial Iwata LPH together with exceptional results.
JC was always an inspiration because he was the Common Man doing exceptional work because he had the 'want too'.
Bondo King was of the same 'cloth' being the home grown, intense Man going Star Trek.Above and beyond.
Shine is always the 'thug. Bringing reality to the the 'situation and I always am inspired by his incite.
'68 has been amazing with his journey into this world and a warrior to this trade.
Rusty is just amazing.Enough said.
Chad. I learned a lot from this man.Amazing as well.Truly gifted and never say Never.
Most Everybody from the first days on Hotrodders and SPI know me and I owe a big debt of gratitude for their incite and advice.
I had no idea of 'how' and with all of Your wisdom, created some exceptional 'work' which brought much joy and personal satisfaction to my Life which I am Truly Grateful of.
Then,
There IS Barry........
Where 'would' WE Be,
Without YOU.........
THANK YOU for having the Passion for Paint!
