72 Camaro Z28/RS

whenever i am working on a car project here in my shop i com on here and there is always someone else working on the same thing. lol. im doing a 71 now. about the same condition yours is in. mine is a race car though. i had to replace that taillight panel and both qtrs then cut the new qtrs up to stretch the wheel well. lots of metal work getting the thing right.

for a much as you have you p/s qtr cut up you would have been better off i think just to replace it. new ones are really cheap for that car.
 
Thanks Chad and Jim. I do have new quarters for the car but I'm kinda waiting to finish the doors before I cut the rest of the old ones off. Lots of rust in this car, I'm hoping I can save the original wheel houses. I have a set of new ones just in case.

Still working on this project. lol. I finally got the trunk in and I'm working on fixing the mismatched holes in the bumper brace brackets, along with fitting the cross rail. I also got some rust repaired on the right rear inner fender.

I mocked up the front clip again, so that I could get an idea on my initial gaps, and so that I could send the front bumpers out for plating.











Overall the front of the car is decent. It will need some work, but I need to finish the rear of the car first. The car still needs door skins, quarters, maybe outer wheel houses, and drop offs. I'm going to start on the door skins now, and then the quarters. Thanks for stopping by.

I really think that spoiler is exactly what that car needed!
