Got paint and clear on the doors. Started assembly of the interior. Almost done on the inside, still have to paint the glove box. Working on fenders and hood this week.

Got a door hung, mirror on and door handle. It’s about all I could do today. I am losing motivation on this truck. Just about burnt out with this thing. Gotta suck it up I guess and get back in the paint booth.

Man, you're on the down side. Think about where you were when you were doing all that sanding. I wish I were where you are now. How's that for motivation!

Your right. Realistically I could have this thing painted in a month and then relax and enjoy driving it again.

Having the cab and doors in paint is a big milestone. As I said before, the cab is the most work. Even if you do get burned out, it's okay to take a little time away from it.

MD, I keep seeing your progress on your truck and it keeps me going at the moment. You are kicking some serious a$$ on your truck. I wish I was as close as you. Your almost done and that has to be a great feeling. I do get excited seeing the cab and doors in color. I have some serious work ahead of me. Ive been dreading getting started on the box. So much filler work with the after market bed and all the spot welds, dings and dents everywhere from shipping, but oh well.... There is light at the end of this tunnel. 3 years of off and on body work on this truck and I cant wait to be done with it!!!! It will be a while before I take on a project of this magnitude again. (Unless I win the lottery :)

I'm very motivated, I want to drive it so bad. It's hard work doing a nut and bolt restomod in a year, one Saturday at a time. Next project I won't be as aggressive. I know the feeling though, it feels like there's so much to do and it'll never get done but step by step and all of a sudden you reach a milestone. I remember just a couple months ago thinking about how much work the bed was going to be but it hasn't been that bad. Keep going and don't give up!

Well finally got the bed painted. Still have to cut and buff the clear. Next up is the tintable raptor liner. I'll attempt that next week. Gonna take this weekend off and head to the mountains for some much needed relaxation. Only have the two front fenders and hood left. Cant wait to be done with it.

Last night I got the Raptor Liner sprayed finally. Worked out pretty good. I used my Iwata AirGunsa 3.0 tip to spray. I really like how the texture turned out. The bed is done. Now Im working on the tailgate and then hopefully finish the fenders and hood here soon.

Got the front and back glass in today. What a chore with the stainless trim!! Glad that’s over with. Seemed like it took me way longer to get it in than it should have.

Years ago the early 70's body style wasn't exactly my favorite ,from the from the factory that is. These days you see a lot of em smoothed over & freshened up & it's changed my opinion.
Lookin good here.
