Man, you're on the down side. Think about where you were when you were doing all that sanding. I wish I were where you are now. How's that for motivation!
Having the cab and doors in paint is a big milestone. As I said before, the cab is the most work. Even if you do get burned out, it's okay to take a little time away from it.
MD, I keep seeing your progress on your truck and it keeps me going at the moment. You are kicking some serious a$$ on your truck. I wish I was as close as you. Your almost done and that has to be a great feeling. I do get excited seeing the cab and doors in color. I have some serious work ahead of me. Ive been dreading getting started on the box. So much filler work with the after market bed and all the spot welds, dings and dents everywhere from shipping, but oh well.... There is light at the end of this tunnel. 3 years of off and on body work on this truck and I cant wait to be done with it!!!! It will be a while before I take on a project of this magnitude again. (Unless I win the lottery
The back is usually not too bad. If you got the windshield in by yourself, you are a magician.Got the front and back glass in today. What a chore with the stainless trim!! Glad that’s over with. Seemed like it took me way longer to get it in than it should have.
