Just wanted to post my experience with the UreChem base I used. Mixes 2-1, and I sprayed 3 coats with my DV-1 base gun at a pressure on the gun gauge of 14PSI with 1.3 tip. I also activated the base with UreChems UA-41 hardener. The Mossport green color really looks good, better in person then my pics. I used my DV-1 clear gun spraying Euro clear with 1.3 tip at 20 psi on gun with full fluid and fan, and got supper results. Biggest problem I had was dust.

I was a little apprehensive of the UreChem paints at first but now that I’ve got about 5 years of experience with them it’s a really great economy paint.

Wow, a '66 with the rarest of rare levitating hood option. ;)
I painted 10+ vettes now and while I'd love to paint them assembled, just cant figure out how to get the door jams nice and slick especially on the hinge side, headlight bucket areas too.

Owner didn't want to pay for all the disassembly. Hinge area in jambs look OK, I used my mini gun to spray the first 2 coats of base for coverage because of the smaller physical size. I painted the first 2 coats off clear on everything then did the third with doors almost closed, then cam back and opened doors to gloss out doors jambs because if I get a little dry spray on outer body it gets wet sanded anyway.

Used urechem on two cars that don't see much daylite...still looks good after two years
