My next project? I have opportunity to acquire this survivor from my neighbor for nothing out of pocket, not free, but in exchange for 3k worth of work. The truck is very solid but has 50 years of dings/dents and such, with a few awful attempts with filler to cover them . The only rust (other than surface rust) I found was on the inner fenders where it bolts to the radiator support, the right side rocker, left inner fender brace and the bottom of the right door skin. Obviously there is more hiding, but all I could find after checking all the typical spots. The bed is especially solid.
Its got a GM Goodwrench 350, 4 speed tranny and what looks like an Eaton rear end with very low gearing.
Now, keeping in mind that I live in Ct and this is a rare find, do you think its worth 3k?
