Pretty sure Rube Goldberg was the lead engineer for these tailgate retractors and latches. Better than chains and hooks though.

Can’t wait to install the 5 piece rear bumper with 6 brackets.

I’ve had a 58/59 Fleetside on my wish list for years but after building this truck and seeing how much effort they take I’m rethinking that.

To quote a wise man “ those bloody trucks are a lot of work…”

I’ve got everything in color now. Just need to plow through the cut and buff. Used three gallons of red SS and one gallon of black. Four coats on everything.

Plugging away. Customer job starting this week so trying to get to a good stopping place. Windshield and rear window going in Wednesday. Found these used C6 wheels on eBay.

Thanks for the kind words. I try to build nice driver quality cars and I think it meets that goal. Far from perfect but my wife and I will enjoy cruising in this one.

Ive Only have sprayed BC/CC. What’s your opinion on spraying the single stage for someone with little experience? It will be Ford whimbleton white?
