still looking for a cab/chassis to title . cab condition not important. found several 56 trucks but need early . i'm in north texas.
 
There's a 53 3/4 ton flat head on FB in Birch Tree MO. $1,300. Don't know if you check FB or not but there's a few on there from MO, OK, KAN, NEB.

"I have a 1953 Ford F250 for sale, it has. 1953 Mercury motor, the engine is not stuck, it has a manual transmission. No bed, just the cab and frame. 1300 obo."

i'm not looking to drive 10hrs one way . here's the deal . i have a nice truck setting on a dakoda chassis . so no vin to title. bought a 55 with a title but someone has a bonded title on the vin. i just need a cab/chassis to title.
old car market has tanked. thanks to biden everybody is hurting and selling off stuff. but they are overpriced for the most part. don't blame them or have any hard felling's but a pasture car or truck is not worth 1500 to 3000 unless it is a barn find out of the weather .
thanks for looking for me. fuel cost kinda limit how far i can go.

I kinda figured by your post you want it just for the title but wasn't sure. Hell offer them $500 on the OBO or the weight in scrap price... cant hurt.
 
i likely will use the chassis instead of the Dakoda chassis . not sure. just building a nice driver to play with until i get my falcon built. will sell the truck .
the other truck i bought has a butchered up camaro clip so the vin is gone. as far as i can tell ford did not multi stamp the frames.
i found a 350 and offered 500 . guy got all butt hurt and pulled the ad .

this guy put this out at 1500 obo . i offered 500 as a starting number. truck has little value but i needed a frame. so what would you pay for something like this? guy called me a cheap sob .

no he got all but hurt and called me a cheap sob then pulled the ad . being a 1ton the fenders are useless. chassis is longer than 1/2 ton. i would have given maybe 800 for it but the guy just doesn't know how it's done.
 
hell he pulled the ad. likely a crochety old fart who does not deal much. he has a bunch of trucks and stuff .
 
If you knew where he was located you could put a pair of bibs on and go talk to him. Looks like it's been sitting out by it's self for a while...
