I don't want to clutter up your thread Shine, so I will start a new one.
I know you don't want to go this far, but you might get some ideas from this build. Even with all the work they did, it is just about perfect, even the body and paint. Chip Foose did a 65 Impala body on a new Corvette similar to this, but his body and paint needed some more work, I could see waves in several areas. Jay adds his touch in this first video.

i am building a 1950 chevy fleetline. i want it to look like a 50 chevy . only thing going away will be hood trim and will use 49 trunk handle.

I've driven nothing but caddy coupes since 1990 after being wheelchair bound (chair fits in 1 piece behind power seat) and i agree 100% with old soul & will add that's the ugliest caddy i ever saw. Give it award for that.

When moving away from original there is always the question of how far do I go, but I think this is what their customer wanted, and they did it perfectly. I noticed a 69 Camaro they did and that customer wanted the exterior left mostly original.

Like Chip Foose, they use a lot of bondo, but the results are outstanding.

No doubt it's a beauty to drive & prize winner & hours of hard well done work.
I personally love them just the way gm drew them up, maybe a little chop & drop & spi clear :)

No offense to anyone who likes this or cars like it. I like some of the design aspects but the style of some of these cars reminds me of a kid wearing a "VonDutch" t-shirt telling me "yeah they make cool shirts".

I like it, I guess I'm more a custom guy than I knew, but I would not do something like that to a 57 chevy. I haven't seen any slicing and dicing on a 57 that I liked, but a morrison chassis and upgraded drive train would be a plus. I guess in just depends on the car, like a 50 mercury needs a top chop.

I guess I'm more of a purist on these things. That madam V looks line an abomination compared to a nicely restored original. I have a 48' Buick fastback and have restored a 51' Cadillac convertible and GM just had it right in this era.

These so called "designers" can cut up all the chevy's and fords they want but leave the good cars alone.

The car does nothing for me personally but I do have great respect for the quality of the work done on it.
The cost of producing a modified car like this has to be astronomical!

No doubt the workmanship is top knotch. It will just end up at Barrett Jackson in 10-15 years for pennies on the dollar. Once the bloom falls off the rose most of these cars aren't very desirable because of all the mods.

They spent 7000 hours on it, I'm guessing that is probably close to a million or more in labor alone. I hope his wife enjoys it.

More I look at it the more I don't like it. Grill and front end treatment look completely out of place. Not of fan of the Ring Brothers "Look" anyways and it looks weird on this car.

If that car has the handling and performance of a CTS-V I am in. Styling cues aside I had a 2011 CTS-V and it was the best car I ever owned by a wide margin. Loved it.
