4000 on Bare Maple

I'm building a cheap guitar kit. Can I shoot 4000 Universal Clear on bare maple - and on a softer basswood?

If you've used any of the typical wood finishes, like Minwax, Deft, etc, SPI UV clear will blow your mind!

I'm ahead of schedule with one coat on. It looks fabulous already! I've put some logo decals on and will recoat everything in about an hour.

Quick and dirty. That's enough work for a $69 kit. Not a real Fender, of course, but a "tribute" guitar. Time to string it up and hit some licks!
