So another project. Hope its ok sharing this one. No spi products used on it.

Owner did all his own metal work, cut up cowl and moved firewall back. All bottoms of doors and body replaced. Replaced rear wheel tubs.
Now our turn to make it nice.
Used squeeg's epoxy. Suposed to be a copy of ep2 from house of colour

Lots of trim and parts to do on these.
Yellow is the ep2 copy, sanded out. Then laid on some slicksand. Blocked out for final time. Then sealer coat and paint.

Incredibly deep reflection. Looks to be a flawless paint job. The second I saw that body file I knew this was going to be a good one.

Thanks for sharing.

Fenders had a few outward dimples in the seem. Had to cut the line nicer with no fillers

I'm looking at purchasing a body file. I see body files are listed as either 00,0, 1, 2 or 3 from finest to coarsest.........or listed by tooth per inch. What tooth per inch would be a good file to learn with. Would a medium cut be 8 or 9 tooth per inch?

Thiers a couple standards on files. Also depends on length of files.
Not realy sute what would be good to learn on, i use them like sand paper, start course and finish fine depemding on how much material i have to remove. Obvious more course will bite more so is harder effort to work with it grabing the panel more than a fine would. And full length would be easier to hold onto.

Thank you for the link, Dean. Good information there. I may not be any good at it but, I'll never know unless I try.

Thanks again,
Mike
