UPDATE.

Doing what I did to this primer, took a toll on me as its been a big seller for years and let me assure everyone, I listened to the tech calls as I would have went back to the old formula real fast.
But two things happened, every call was nothing but praise, now this NEVER happens with a primer or a body filler.
The other thing that happened, twice, I ran out of inventory of the primer and I got to tell you that just never happens with me as, I normally on all big sellers keep 300 gallons back up at least to the 200-400 gallons I have in the shipping area.
I'm so thrilled with the comments and the sales.

How does this new primer compare to turbo primer? Quality wise, dry times, hold out etc?
That's one question that I think only Barry can give the best answer to.

From personal experience I think the turbo sprays smoother and it may sand a bit easier as well.

What I think the new 2K has done is really closed the gap with the HB. It sprays just as smooth and the build is better than the older formula. Now I can safely just recommend people to shoot an extra coat or two of the 2K regular and they'll be closer to the build of the HB primer at a lower price point.

Sands very nice too.

All I have ever used is the high build and I love it. Next order Im going to try the turbo though. Earlier in this thread, I got the impression "Turbo" is still Barrys top pick.

The main difference is the turbo has a third nano in it,
Epensive to add but does do a few things, one is act a a roller to make it sand easier even though tougher to sand to begin with.
Hope this makes sense but dont need to givaway to much info.

Is there any chance of getting it in a quart size?

I just used my last can of 6520 date code jan 17. The new can has the new label but also different ingredients on the label. I noticed at my normal 4:1 it doesnt spray as well in my klc 1.7. I had to reduce a little. So has the formula been changed again?

Doesnt really matter because it laid down very nice, was sandable without clogging paper very quickly, and sanded very easily.

It was only small parts so im anxious to try it on large panels in this heat. Ive had to spray it out of a 2.5 in the summer to keep the dry spray under control.
