2K or Epoxy primer

I have been working on my project off and on for a number of years. Years ago I used some grey epoxy primer, now I am using black. Now I have some panels that are grey and I don't know if I left them in Epoxy primer or 2K. Is there a way for me to tell? Does it matter? Should I just sand them all with 180 and reshoot 2k on them?

If you are comfortable they are still sound with no possibility of moisture getting to them, I would sand them and shoot two coats of epoxy on them. Not that 2K would not work, I would just prefer to know I had the moisture protection and adhesion benefits of epoxy.

If the (old) grey panels have some sheen or low gloss chances are it is epoxy, at least with SPI. If dead flat more likely to be 2K. If they were sanded flat may be harder to tell.
