2000 Dodge Dakota Sport

Repainted the front bumper and got it and a new black grille installed today. Owner wants all black accents and no chrome other than the Ram's head emblem.

This dented area was a bit of a challenge:

Turned out pretty good for all the prying, poking, hammering, etc.

Hope to get the color and clear on tomorrow. After that, if the Raptor bedliner gets here, I can start on that part of the project on Monday.
I ordered a "powder coated" rear bumper and when I took it out of the box, I found the brackets and bolts loose in the box. The bumper was scratched up pretty bad in the most visible area.

I contacted them and they sent me a replacement and told me not to bother with returning it. The replacement got here and guess what? It was scratched up too just not as bad.

For $368 including shipping this was unacceptable, so I contacted them and sent them pictures. They said they will refund my money and send a return label for the bumper. Still waiting.

Lookin real good!

So I gotta ask, with your booth being a positive pressure type you don't worry about the overspray landing all over the camper and whatever you park out there?

After having to clean overspray from one of our cars, I learned to move our vehicles far enough away so that doesn't happen. Generally there is a breeze blowing that prevents any overspray from lingering once it heads out the garage door.

To their credit, Carparts.com did refund my money and send a return label for one of the bumpers. I sent the worst one back and kept the lightly scratched one. After a little modification and painting, I got it installed today.
